This parish does so much for the community at large, as well as all members of the church. Years ago, when another Episcopal church in the area had to close due to dwindling numbers, they had "shopped" around for other churches with which to merge. Good Shepherd quickly became the obvious choice, with a healthy Sunday School program, beautiful music, and a rector with an ever-beaming smile. Everyone helps, willingly and lovingly, and it is a great church to call "home."
