People have very different perspectives of Shea, but to everyone out there looking for a real review, my experience at Shea was amazing and unforgettable. All of my teacher were not only wonderful instructors but cared for us at a personal level. It build me and truly prepared me for college. I lived some of my current favorite moments at Shea.

i feel like even thought Shea high seems like a bad school is ISN'T because i go here right now and i love it as long a you surround yourself with a great group of people, go to school everyday and work as hard as you can i know that your time at Shea high school will be a good one and just to let you guys know i love Shea high school and i am glad that i came here :)

I found an eyelash in my Gourmet apple sauce. Then they tried to make me learn. Who. Does. That. The. They taught us jow to build a shrine for snoop dawg.

I graduated from Shea in 2004. I firmly believe the students broke down into two groups. Those who cared about their education & wanted to go on to better their lives. The second group were those who treated school as a joke and didn't care about their future or want to make something of their lives. I had some great teachers who did a fantastic job. However if given the chance to do it all over again I wouldn't have gone to Shea.

I graduated from Shea in 2003 and I had a pretty bad experience here. One of my ESL teachers, aside from not letting kids leave the classroom to go to the bathroom, had a very strong accent and terrible English pronunciation. My other ESL teacher and track coach apparently was checking out the girls while we were running in a way that seemed inappropriate to other students. I didn't feel challenged in my classes, and there was always a sense of imprisonment at school, but I think that might be an all american problem. I was completely unprepared for college and ended up registering late for classes at CCRI, where I went on to have a great experience and transferring to a 4 year school. I wouldn't send my kid here.
