Check them both out on Facebook and prepare to be impressed.
Parking is rough, especially during events. Space is limited and honestly, a little cramped. However, they have a patio area that is opened during fair weather months, where some events include a free pot luck style BBQ. Examples are large FNMs, Magic pre-release, etc. They also open for midnight booster box sales for new product releases.
Best-kept secret among the local gaming shops. Grant and Xi are always around to handle questions or help with purchases, either in-stock or ordering for future allotment.
No doubt my favorite gamestore so far, its always got stuff to buy including mtg related products and lots of other stuff like warhammer especially. The prices are very reasonable and everytime i go there it doesn't feel like a gamestore, it feels like hanging out with a large group of my close friends. Everyone there who even isn't an employee is helpful and kind and they are always welcoming new players, the amount of accessibility i have to so many different things there is amazing. i love this place to the point where im willing to trek a 1 hour bike ride from my new house just to get there (im 15). I even decided to take a trip to untapped games to get a comparison between the two and let me just say untapped is nothing compared to this place, untapped is bigger and might have more merchandise(maybe) but it will never have the same home like feel that the temple does, Grant is an amazing owner and everyone else there is too.
If you are looking for a shop that treats you like extended family, this is the place you NEED to check out. Come by and check out their free games library! Learn some new games and buy a copy to share with your friends.
Decent shop for a mom and pop shop, not much space and thats kinda something i look for.
They are also the masterminds behind TempleCon, RI's craziest annual gaming convention with a slight catering towards the older gaming community.
Great place to pick up your table top gaming needs. Owner is pretty cool too
The customers are treated like a community rather than dollar signs. Custom decor is rampant (artisanl tables, Tiffany style lamps, and gaming terrain EVERYWHERE) but wonderfully integrated. Grant also restores vintage arcade games, and usually has a few near the register counter.
Been there a few times. Really nice people. They helped me out alot with a bunch of random M.T.G. questions. Also very reasonable prices on boosters and singles. I cant say enough great things about them. Also heard there events are amazing.
