Worst place to get food! First time going there and never going back. It was hot in building and and had an oder. There were a lot of kids playing video games in pizzeria. pizza was ok but rest of the food suck!
First time ordering from them today and probably would not order from them again!
A honest review:
My Greek salad arrived cold and crisp. It was a monster salad, with a huge amount (1/4 block, seriously!) of feta cheese, uncrumbled which was actually nice for portion control. Besides that, it was iceberg lettuce, 4 cucumber slices, 2 red onion slices, and some pale tomato wedges. Sub-par tomatoes? In the summer? At an Italian-Mediterranean restaurant? The mind boggles. Digging in, I searched in vain for the customary olives. There were none. In my universe, a handful of nice, fat, purple-black kalamata olives are the 'sine qua non' of a Greek salad. For real, who doesn't put olives on a Greek salad? I have to hope this was an accidental slip-up.
This new place has potential, but hasn't quite got it right, yet.
Overall, it was a good effort but the quality and assembly of the food was lacking.
Saint Maria Pizzeria is the NEW OWNERS of the previous Sub shop. I come across town every week to get me a steak & cheese. I can't get a good quality steak & cheese NO WHERE ELSE IN RHODE ISLAND. Saint Maria Pizzeria have good foods with the best prices no one else can beat.
My husband's steak bomb pizza was loaded with yummy toppings, but the crust was soggy instead of crispy. That was weird, too.
We ordered on a Tuesday night and got quick delivery. The prices are on the low side, which is great.
My husband ordered the steak and cheese sandwich with a side of rice. He said it was decent, but the steak was kind of burnt.
The buffalo wings had a tasty sauce, but were covered in a thick, soggy breading that made me think they've come frozen from a bag. I wasn't tempted to finish them. Also, a large order is 9 wings, instead of the typical 10-12, which was a little odd.
I had the buffalo chicken wing dinner with fries and onion rings. It came with 5 tiny wings. The breading on them was soggy. The onion rings are definitely not "homemade" and are probably from a frozen store bought bag. There french fries were decent.
Bought the steak and chicken dinner for the first time with delivery. There was a fair amount of meat and loaded with rice and fries. I will say you could really taste the seasoning in the whole meal. There could always be more meat and the fries were slightly soggy but for $10.99 you get a good meal at a cheap price. I will order again!
